Submission Guideline Steps:
Step 1: Include 2 - 8 UNPUBLISHED/ UNRELEASED images (low resolution @ 72 DPI). PLEASE REMOVE ALL WATERMARKS BEFORE YOU SUBMIT. SEND TO:
Step 2: Wait 48 hours or 2 business days to see if you have been selected to appear in one of our editions. Although we strive to get back to everyone, if your submission is not accepted we may not answer you. Please feel free to contact us after the 2 business days have lapsed. If your submission is accepted we will require and request high resolution images.
Step 3: Once you receive your email containing the acceptance letter, submit the (specified images) in high resolution set to 600 DPI. Images should be 8.5" in width x 11" in height for portrait, and/or 17" in width x 11" in height for landscape. Please double check the resolution in the properties section to make sure it is set to 600 dpi.
Next, Send in your photographer's release form giving us permission to publish your work and send in (if applicable), the minor parental consent release of liability form. If you are anyone other than the photographer submitting, it is your responsibility to keep your team in the loop. Forward the photographer the acceptance letter so they can follow #3.
Finally, send in all the credits that you wish to have published. Please make sure to double check the spelling of all names pertaining to the credit information. They will be published exactly as it is sent to us. ICON Magazine takes no fault for errors, including but not limited to, misspelled credits. If you notify us of an error, we will do our best to fix it. PLEASE NOTE! If there is more than one model in your editorial spread(s) please indicate each image which model(s) are pictured. Include all of the following details:
City, State & Country: We will list this in the credits.
LIST All OF THE FOLLOWING:
Stylist, Designers, MUA's Etc.
Models: Specify who each model(s) is.
Title: Example (Pristine). Please KEEP THE TITLE TO NO MORE THAN (3) WORDS.
Step 4: Before hitting the "send" button, double check that you have correctly followed the steps outlined here. Due to the amount of submissions and emails we receive, we want to make this process as efficient as possible for all parties involved.
Step 5: Kick back and relax, wait for your confirmation. If we are missing something, we will be in touch. Otherwise, if we have received everything we need in order to publish your work we will send you a confirmation message saying "CONFIRMED".
Step 6: We will let everyone know across all social media platforms when the magazine has been released. VIEW your work here, under the CURRENT EDITION tab. From there you will be able to PURCHASE and DOWNLOAD each edition on magcloud. Although we set a release date, it can vary due to unforeseen circumstances. If we have to push back the release date, we will keep you in the loop. We ask that you DO NOT post the images anywhere until the magazine has been launched.
